VINE  BRANCH   THEOLOGY

by Robert Brow  Kingston, Ontario, September 2006

my business is growing

the best grapes from this vine

you have sprouted and your duty

is to produce ten clusters

for my harvest

I did my best but couldn’t

even produce a vine leaf

then my master explained

just let the sap into your life

the fruit will come

the green leaves  looked so nice

I said to him that’s enough

but he replied the fruit will come

the sap will do what you never

thought possible

when the clusters weighed me down

I said please leave me alone

but finally the harvesters came to cut them

it was painful

he said well done

NOTE : The Christian life is not a set of rules demanding the impossible.

When the Holy Spirit works the miracle in us, the Father is delighted.
