It is true that models can never capture all the feelings that go with
the item that is descibed. A model that exactly captures the design of
a Porsche never gets anywhere near the feelings that go with owning a Porsche
and driving it. But the feeling of driving a Porsche does not exist apart
from the design of the car. Religious models only set out a person's explanation
for the logic of his or her faith. And many people experience God without
being able to explain what they feel.
